The box

One pair to a line. Put the front first, then a comma or a tab, then the back. A line with no comma in it becomes a card with a blank back, which is what you want for a one-sided deck and is not an error.

Everything else on the bench works as it does on the other pages: how many to a sheet, which paper, which edge your printer turns the sheet about, and whether to print the backs at all. Up to 240 pairs.

It never leaves this page

The pairs you type are read by code running in your browser, drawn into the sheet you can see, and written into the PDF there as well. Nothing is sent anywhere. There is no account, there is nothing to log in to, and there is nowhere for the words to be stored, which also means there is nothing to come back to next week: keep the file.

Pasting from a spreadsheet

Copy two columns and paste them straight in. A spreadsheet puts a tab between the columns and a newline between the rows, which is exactly the shape this box reads. A comma works the same way for anything typed by hand.

What the press will refuse

An empty box, because there is nothing to print. More than 240 pairs, because past that a deck is a filing job. And anything that will not set at 9 pt at the size you asked for, which usually means a long sentence on a card at ten to a sheet: fewer to a sheet, or shorter text.
