Verso draws every card in your own browser and writes the file there. Nothing you choose on this site is sent anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to be sent: the deck you pick, the range you set, the pairs you type into the box and the files you take never leave the machine you are reading this on.

What is collected

Nothing. This site has no account, no newsletter, no comments and no form. It does not ask for your name or your email address and it has no way to store either.

The box on the flashcard maker page

That box is the only place on this site where you give it anything, so it is worth being exact. What you type is read by code running in the page you are looking at, drawn into the sheet on screen, written into the PDF, and forgotten when you close the tab. It is not sent to a server, it is not saved in the page, and there is nothing to come back to next week. Keep the file.

What the server sees

Serving a web page necessarily involves your browser asking a server for it, and that request carries your IP address and the name of your browser. That is true of every site on the web and it is how this page reached you. Those requests are handled by the hosting provider in the ordinary course of serving the site.

Typefaces and files

The typeface is served from this site rather than from anybody else’s, so reading a page here does not tell a third party that you did. The PDF is built in your browser and saved by your browser; it is not uploaded anywhere first.

Changes

If this site ever starts collecting something, this page will say so before it does.
