Division flashcards
Every division in the range that comes out whole. 1 to 12 makes 144 cards on 18 sheets, with no remainders anywhere in the pack.
Every division that comes out whole
The deck is built from the answer backwards. For each divisor in the range and each quotient in the range, the card is the product divided by the divisor. At 1 to 12 that is 144 cards, and not one of them has a remainder, because every one was made by multiplying first.
That is the difference between this and a deck built by taking every pair and dividing: that one is mostly remainders, and a child drilling division facts is not drilling remainders.
The sizes
Eight to a sheet is 18 sheets and 36 pages counting the backs. The card is 95 by 69.3 mm. The fronts set at 56.74 pt rather than the 64 pt of the times tables, because “144 / 12” is a longer string than “12 x 12” and the type is sized to the longest thing in the deck. The backs are 64 pt.
It is the times tables backwards
Every card in this deck is a card in the multiplication deck read the other way. If you are printing both, print them on different coloured paper or mark one corner, because once they are cut they are hard to tell apart in a pile.
